Battery storage offset
This battery can store excess power produced from you solar system during the day rather that exporting it to the grid, It then can be utilised at night or during low production to support house loads rather than drawing from the grid. In Most cases these batteries can be programmed for single use (discharging as its needed) or time of use ( discharging at a specific time during the night).
One of the most cost effective ways to obtain this outcome adding an AC Battery to your existing solar pv system.
Battery Back up
Like the Battery Storage offset these batteries also operate similar and store excess power created by your pv system during the day, but also have the ability to supply backup power to your house or loads during a black out.
